Park Vista uses a proportionate share of assessments based on the square footage of all the units, as dictated in the Association's CC&Rs. For example, if your unit represents 1.17% of all the square footage of the units, you will be assessed 1.17% of the total cost of the Capital Plan. Use the Assessment Calculator above to find your unit's share.
No. At minimum you must pay monthly (72 payments across 6 years). You may accelerate payments at any time to pay off your balance.
Your first installment is due January 2027.

Yes. Park Vista uses a secret-ballot process. Your completed ballot does not contain your name, address, unit number, or signature. It is placed inside a sealed inner envelope, which is then placed inside the signed outer return envelope used by the Inspector of Elections to verify voter eligibility. The ballot is separated from the identifying outer envelope before it is counted. This process allows the Inspector of Elections to verify that an eligible homeowner submitted the ballot without identifying how that homeowner voted.
For this vote the quorum is thirty two (32). The special assessment passes if a majority of the quorum votes "Yes".
No. Your vote is irrevocable once it is received by the Inspector of Elections.
Yes. The vote count will happen at an open meeting on Thursday, November 5th at 3PM, via Zoom conference call. The inspector will be on camera opening ballots and everyone may observe the count.
No. The funds can only be allocated to the projects identified in the Capital Plan. The plan allows for some flexibility to allocate funds among the identified projects as needs change over time. These funds will be segregated into a special reserve account.
No. If the community votes to pass the capital plan, future boards are accountable for carrying out the mandate.
