Mission Hills Gate Rules
The Mission Hills Homeowners Committee represents all the associations on lease land. The committee is responsible for the operations of the gates at Inverness and Mission Hills Drive. This document provides rules and procedures for managing access to the property and securing RFID tags for our vehicles.
Gate Procedures
Mission Hills is served by four entry gates—listed in the order of closest proximity to Park Vista.
Location and Hours
- The Mission Hills Drive Gate (on Mission Hills Drive, near the intersection of Gerald Ford and DaVall) 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Phone: 760-202-4406
- The Dinah Shore Gate (at Dinah Shore and Mission Hills Drive) Staffed 24/7. Phone: 760-202-4719
- The Inverness Gate (on Inverness Drive, at the intersection of Gerald Ford and Los Alamos) 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Phone: 760-321-8265
- Ginger Rogers Gate (at Ginger Rogers and Bob Hope) 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Phone: 760-328-9706
Remote Sensor Access
Registered residents of Park Vista and tenants may purchase remote windshield sensors that open all the Mission Hills Gates. These sensors permit entry to the property via special entry lanes 24/7.
To obtain a remote sensor for your vehicle:
- Contact the Inverness Gate (760-321-8265) Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 2:00pm. The staff will help register your vehicles or your tenants’ vehicles and will provide windshield sensors. The current cost of the windshield sensors is $25.00 for each vehicle.

After Hours Call Boxes
Each gate also has a call box in the event you or a guest arrive after hours. If you arrive after 10:30 pm and don't want to use the 24/7 Dinah Shore gate, call 2000# at the call box and the security will lift the gate for you remotely.
Use the Website or Mobile APP to Register Guests or Service providers
There are two efficient ways to register guests or service providers with the gates to permit access to the property.
- Preferred Method: Use the ABDI website or mobile APP. These are the preferred methods as they are quick and efficient. Contact the Inverness Gate for help setting up your credentials, (760-321-8265) during business hours.
- Back-Up Method: Call and leave a message on the Inverness Gate answering machine, (760-321-9667). This method is not preferred. Plan and leave extra time for the gate staff to log your guest.
